This year, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary fundraising for Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI), we hope to raise the bar even higher.
We will have an even bigger streeet presence this year, with volunteers, fundraisers and supporters at more than 70 locations nation-wide.
All money raised will help to continue vital research carried out by the scientists at CMRI who have one aim - to change the future for children with genetic diseases, just like four-year-old Livia, who has suffered from severe curvature of the spine and other conditions since birth.
"We are hopeful that scientists at CMRI will one day be able to help find a cure for autism, global developmental delay and scoliosis. Research is so important, and the work that the CMRI is doing is amazing. I’ve never met a bunch of people that are so enthusiastic and passionate about their work.” - Livia's parents.
No matter how you choose to help on Jeans for Genes Day, Friday 2nd August 2013 - YOU will be part of the solution.
