Get all the students and teachers to wear their jeans proudly on Jeans for Genes Day

In 2009, over 1200 schools across Australia held their own Jeans for Genes fundraising event at school. Collectively school's raised over $400,000 for CMRI.

In 2010, the Jeans for Genes team would like to involve 1400 schools across Australia and aims to raise $450,000.

What is your school doing for Jeans for Genes Day?

Schools get involved by holding their own mufti day, encouraging teachers and students to wear their jeans proudly and by collecting a gold coin donation. Some schools decide to hold extra events and activities like raffles, art competitions, gigs, etc to increase their fundraising amount.
