Team 2010

Melissa Nassif, National Campaign Coordinator

Organised, practical, analytical and a super website whiz, this is Melissa, better known as Mel. She has been part of the team for the last three years working as the National Campaign Assistant and now Coordinator, since Julijana left on maternity leave last June. Mel's enthusiasm and focus has taken this campaign to the next level. Be prepared for some new and exciting things on the horizon.

Those who have worked with Mel would agree she's awesome and very approachable.

Christine McGee, Special Events Manager

Events don't just happen especially at Jeans for Genes. Christine, known to many as Chris, has energy like no other. If she's not running around networking, Chris is on the phone to our ambassadors or busy organising the art auction, PR and celebrities. Chris has been working as the Special Events Manager for three years and has left her mark on all the events. Whilst Julijana is on leave, Chris is sharing the management responsibilities with Mel.

Never expect to hear the word "No" from Chris. She is an action woman who makes everything happen.

Nickie Flambouras, Genie Volunteer Manager

Nickie is the newest recruit to Jeans for Genes. She started just as things were heating up for Jeans for Genes Day 2009. Nickie is on a 12 month contract replacing Lynda who is on maternity leave. Lynda's thoroughness and attention to detail has helped Nickie to plan ahead.

Nickie appreciates true creative talent and would like to experiment with different interactive media to attract more volunteers to the Jeans for Genes campaign.

Jodie Mariner, National Campaign Assistant

Jodie, known to everyone at Children's Medical Research Institute as Jodes, has been working with the organisation for years. When Mel moved into the role of Campaign Coordinator, Jodes was excited to take on the position.  Jodes works closely with Chris, Nickie and Mel to keep everyone organised and on the ball. Her infectious smile, thoroughness and website talent has been a significant contribution to the team.

Jodes ideas, nature and sense of humour are all assets she shares with the team.

Maternity Leave

Julijana Trifunovic (National Campaign Manager) and Lynda Dave (Genie Volunteer Manager) are both on maternity leave until June 2010. Watch this space for updated information mid-year.
