Jamm for Genes

With thirty live music venues and over sixty musicians playing for the Jeans for Geens campaign, it is no surprise that Jamm for Genes 2008 was a rocking success.

Events ranged from the staff at Allens Arthur Robinson performing in their Sydney office; to Cantebury-Hurlstone Park RSL displaying a showcase of country music with a massive 15 artists performing live. Kids on the Fourth in Queensland held a disco and the Department of Mines and Energy in Rockhampton hosted a BBQ with local bands in the forecourt of their buidling raising funds with a raffle and a dress up in your jeans competition.

A dynamic initiative was organised by Matthew Davies AKA Oh My Kid from The Pocket who put together a virtual Jamm for Genes on line. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktCJnntc1Pk
