Fletcher Jones Denimstrate in store!

Staff at Fletcher Jones in Toowoomba got behind Jeans for Genes Day with enthusiasm and made it a memorable experience for their customers.  


With an original recycled denim quilt as the base for an eye catching display of men's jeans on the left as customers entered the store, the matching display of women's jeans further highlighted the fact it was Jeans for Genes week.

From there, customers could not miss the denim display on the counter. This consisted of recycled denim handmade products for sale to aid the fundraising venture, the official merchandise, and the cutest little selection of Fletcher Jones staff ever seen.


Positioned on one of the denim casserole carry bags, a miniature of David, Margaret, Alexandria, and Blake attracted the attention of customers. As indicated, a 50 cent donation could buy a vote to say who was the cutest staff member, with the winning staff member to receive a yummy cake and coffee from the rest of the staff.

After 111 votes it was declared the cutest team in Toowoomba was David!

In total $341 was raised by the tremendous efforts of the Toowoomba store - raising $55 from voting, $44 from selling recycled denim products, $99.50 of donations and $142 from selling Jeans for Genes merchandise.
