Castle Hill RSL Jeans for Genes Cocktail Reception
Castle Hill RSL proudly hosted a Jeans for Genes Cocktail Reception on Friday 6th August to celebrate and raise awareness for the Children's Medical Research Institute.
The cocktail reception celebrated the involvement of the Hills Business that rallied to support the Castle Hill RSL's Jeans for Genes Designer Jeans compitetion.
At the cocktail reception the winners of the Jeans for Genes Designer Jeans Competition were announced, winners were Willow Blu, North West Disability Services and Lily Pad Floral Designs.
In the lead up to Jeans for Genes Day Castle Hill RSL also hosted a Jeans for Genes Denimstrate you Care Kids Day on Tuesday, a Children's Medical Research Institute Strategic Forum for Female Hills Business Leaders and a Jeans for Genes Mums, Dads and Bubs seminar with special guests Children's Medical Research Ambassadors John and Tanny Mangos.
Throughout the week Castle Hill RSL proudly raised over $4862.00 to support the vital research.
Castle Hill RSL President and Chairman Warren Glenny said "Castle Hill RSL was very prou of it's Jeans for Genes events and the funds raised to support the Children's Medical Research Institute. We would also like to thank the Hills businesses, our loyal members and the broaders hills community for their support aswell".
