Generosity Morning Tea

The Transition to Work (TTW) team at BreakThru Penrith got in the grove with the Jeans for Genes Day and held a Generosity Morning Tea to raise funds for the cause.

‘Transition to Work’ is a two year program, assisting young adults with disabilities move from school to appropriate work to suit their abilities.

The Coordinators involved the team in preparing a special morning tea – Invitations were hand made (see sample), the ingredients were purchased and the scones made, the fruit was cut and displayed as a fruit platter for all to enjoy.

Earlier in the week, Invitations to buy the Genes for Jeans merchandise were distributed which resulted in sales of $130 from families and staff at this small office.
