2008 Denim Gold Charity Dinner

What a night! With 2GB's Ray Hadley hammering dollars out of the glamorous crowd raising much needed funds for research into children's diseases. Special guest and entertainment by Australian Artist, Ricki-Lee Coulter and Channel 7's Chris Bath was the host with the most.

This year the Denim Gold Charity Dinner raised over $270,000 for the Children's Medical Research Institute.

This spectacular evening was held at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney on Wednesday 23 July with a 'Gold' theme to celebrate 50 years of discovery by the Children's Medical Research Institute. There were over  15 'Golden' celebrities who donated their personally signed jeans which were transformed into unique and valuable pieces of artwork. View photos

This year we introduced the "Celebrity Jeans People's Choice Award" which gave you the opportunity to vote for your favourite piece of artwork.
